It is with much regret that I have to inform fans of CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM that there has been a breakdown in the business relationship between Gamestuff Inc., and the other companies involved, Brittannia Game Designs Ltd (BGD) and Maple Leaf Games Ltd (MLG).
As such, on this day, the 12 November 1999, in a combined action, BGD and MLG issued notice to Gamestuff Inc. of their intentions to terminate the agreement between the three companies. Furthermore, it is felt that BGD and MLG can no longer work with Mr Backhaus in the future development of CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM.
Also, anyone who holds an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) with either Brittannia Game Designs Ltd and/or Maple Leaf Games Ltd should not discuss or disclose any material pertaining to CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM to any member of Gamestuff Inc., which includes Mr Backhaus.
BGD and MLG will continue to develop CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM, a product owned by BGD, and will enjoy working with the many second generation Game Designers now involved in the future of CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM. Brittannia Game Designs Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Maple Leaf Games Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales and is an Associate company of Brittannia Game Designs Ltd. CHIVALRY AND SORCERY TM is a trademark asserted and owned by Brittannia Game Designs Ltd.
